Winter Garden Land Use & Zoning
In early 2007, Orange County and the City of Winter Garden approved the Sixth Amendment to the Joint Planning Area Agreement, which requires “any rezoning applications for the Expansion Area discussed therein to be processed as a Planned Unit Development” with a maximum density of 4 dwelling units per acre.

The City’s Future Land Use Policy 1-1.2.12 states “Properties designated with the Urban Village land use category are required to be developed…subject to the regulations found in the Urban Village PUD zoning designation.”
